The client needed the ability to make content updates themselves, so we worked together to choose WordPress as the content management system. This decision provided a user-friendly interface for managing the site's content.
A contact form was also implemented to allow visitors to get in touch directly through the website. Both WordPress and the contact form were customized to match the clean, architectural style of the website, ensuring easy content management.

Member Authentication System
The application implements a secure authentication system that restricts access to members only. Users can log in using Google or Microsoft accounts, providing a streamlined and secure login experience. By using third-party authentication, users don't need to create or remember separate passwords for the wine club website.
The authentication flow ensures that only verified members can access the private areas of the website, protecting the club's exclusive content and events from unauthorized access.
Members Only Event Page
The event page is accessible exclusively to authenticated members. This private section allows the wine club to share upcoming events, tastings, and gatherings with members while keeping this information private.
Members can register for events by simply clicking a checkbox on the selected event. Registration is automatically disabled after a certain date has passed, which is chosen by the admin. This ensures that event registration closes at the appropriate time without manual intervention.
All members and their event registrations are stored in a database, allowing the admin to track attendance and manage event participation efficiently.
Look and feel
The application includes several member-specific pages beyond the login and event sections, such as an FAQ page to address common questions about the wine club, a Rules page to outline community guidelines and membership policies, and a Members page that lists all current members.
Additionally, the project involved close collaboration with the client to develop a logo that reflects the identity of their wine club.
This private web application provides a secure platform for the wine club to manage member access and share exclusive content. The authentication system and access controls ensure that only verified members can access the private event page, club information and register for events.
